Education for Ministry is a program administered and published by the University of the Southat Sewanee. EFM offers laypeople the opportunity to increase theirknowledge of the Christian tradition and its development. Throughstudy, theological reflection, and worship, participants enrich theirown lives and ministry. Participation takes place in a seminar formatof 6 - 12 people with a trained facilitator. The entire program runs for four years, but participants are only required to commit to one year at a time. Course materials for the four years cover The Old Testament, The New Testament, Church History, and Theological Choices.

Women Around the World Can Make A Difference
This small group discussion centers around the book Half the Sky
by Nicholas Krisof and Sheryl WuDunn. We began Wednesday, Jan. 27 and
continue through Feb. 10, 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Norwood Room. We are
discussing not only this book, but also broader lessons about how God
calls each of us to respond to the needs of others and a look at how we
