Sunday Mornings at St. Paul's
Last spring the Adult Education Committee hosted a discussion on programs offered during the in-between service hour on Sunday mornings. The group had a wonderful and enthusiastic conversation with an emphasis on the need for more small group opportunities at St. Paul's.
This fall, on October 9, 16, 23, and 30, our Adult Education will be discussing: Love Wins, a best-selling book by Rob Bell. Millions of Christians have struggled with how to reconcile God's love with God's judgment. Does God select only a few to go to heaven and everyone else to suffer forever in hell? What is heaven and what is hell? Join Wallace and Kate in the Parish Hall as we continue our discussion of Bell's controversial book.
We're currently in the process of collecting ideas on topics and issues which people may want to discuss over a series of weeks. If you would be interested in leading a small group or have an idea for a topic of conversation, please do not hesitate to contact Anna Moncure at amoncure@gmail.com.
And make sure to mark your calendars for the first Sunday in December. On December 4, Brother Curtis Almquist from the Society of St. John the Evangelist in Cambridge, Massachusetts, will speak to us.
