St. Paul's offers special Wednesday Night programming throughout the year. Below is information about our current offerings.
Prayer Yoga
Wednesdays, 5:00 pm
Youth Center (the Chapel is currently under renovation)
Taking time to be still and breathe in this sacred setting has been a gift to us all. Find out why Richmond Magazine named prayer yoga at St. Paul's "one of 75 things every Richmonder should do."
Women Around the World Can Make A Difference
This small group discussion centers around the book Half the Sky by Nicholas Krisof and Sheryl WuDunn. We began Wednesday, Jan. 27 and continue through Feb. 10, 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Norwood Room. We are discussing not only this book, but also broader lessons about how God calls each of us to respond to the needs of others and a look at how we individually respond to his call. Sign up with Jenny Bliley, 545-5416 or jbliley@stpauls-episcopal.org.
St. Paul’s Architectural Language
(Three-Lecture Wednesday Evening Class)
February 24, March 3, March 10
7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Norwood Room
Why does our church look the way it does? Why would St. Paul feel at home here? What role did the ancient poet Callimachus play in the appearance of our building? What does the Horologion of Andronicus have to do with us?
Calder Loth will reveal the stories and meanings behind the forms and decorations we see in our church every day during this special new series. Space is limited to 30 people, so please sign up as soon as possible if you plan to attend. You can register online below or contact Leslie Choplin, St. Paul's Minister of Christian Formation, at lchoplin@stpauls-episcopal.org or (804) 545-5418.
