The Day the Fire Alarm was Set Off…

Waz goin on peeps in Richmond Va?

Today we went to Glide and fed the homeless again. The fire alarm was pulled by a lady. Because of this action, the fire department had to come and they had to check the building to make sure the building was not really on fire.

After we left Glide, we went to ‘Delancy Street’ which is a program that provides convicts with a place to stay, learn, and grow. Delancy Street also teaches the residents a special work trait like fixing cars.

Right after we left Delancy Street, we went to Grace Cathedral. At the Cathedral, everyone was left to wander the church. A lot of people walked the prayer labyrinth and you were also able to look at the all the figures of Jesus (I was also able to get a good nap in).

See you soon, Hugh (AKA-Kid Shamrock)

I admire and am grateful for the courage and openness that all of you Adventurers and your adult sponsors are demonstrating!  Our daughter, Anna, and her peers were forever changed for the better—more aware, compassionate, and grateful—by their experiences in San Francisco, and it appears that you all are fortunate to be on your way to similar changes.  Thank you, best wishes, and travel safely!
