Blessed Disruptions
My Dear People,
"I just can't see that it makes sense."
"Yeah, I think it's great. I mean, it livens up the office hours."
"This type of music is all right in its place, and it's quite enjoyable, but I think it's a bit of an imposition to absolutely disrupt all the business in the area."
It was January 30, 1969, and the Beatles were playing what would turn out to be their last live performance, and they were doing so atop a building on Savile Row, in London, in an unannounced 42-minute concert, on a windy, wintry day.
You can watch various video clips on YouTube (as I found myself doing this week for some unknown reason), as passers-by stop and look and listen, and as crowds form in the streets below, and as people gather at windows, on fire-escapes, and on rooftops to watch and listen.
Did it make sense? No. Was it "out of place"? Maybe. Did it disrupt the normal flow of activity? Of course.

In Ireland, they call the third person of the Trinity: An Geadh-Glas. The Wild Goose. Seriously, they do. (I learned this just yesterday.)

When was the last time you went on a wild goose chase? Maybe you're due one.
Your brother in Christ,
Wallace+
