Excerpt:
"Faith and love are risks. There is so much gray. We give so much without knowing what we'll ever receive in return. Faith is something that is so hard to understand and have confidence in; and so hard to have remain constant for your entire life. But, I can honestly say, because of my experience in this church, that I understand that's kind of the point of faith. You can never see it or touch it. You have to experience it. And I have [experienced faith] because of this youth program.
"I therefore speak for all of us in YAC -- for Staige, Quint, Si, Margaret, Olivia, Liz, Nena, Douglas, Dom, Thomas, Joy, Jaime, and Henry -- when I speak of the importance of this program. It teaches us the significance of community, friendship, service, faith. And most importantly, to grasp the experiences in life as firmly as possible for there is meaning in all of it."
