The Lenten Lunch program, which began in 1922, is the main fundraising arm of St. Paul's Episcopal Church Women. "Lenten Lunches" accompanies and complements the St. Paul's Lenten preaching series, another of our signature ministries. These short, interdenominational midday services run throughout Lent, ending on Ash Wednesday.
All profits from Lenten Lunches are re-distributed to benefit those in need in Richmond, Virginia, the Diocese, and abroad.
Thanks to this program, in the past decade, St. Paul's Episcopal Church Women has contributed between $21,000 and $38,000 each year to those in need in the city, state, Diocese, and abroad.
