We have much to offer. In 1958, when our Parish made the commitment to remain downtown, we built our Parish Hall and two-story parking garage. In 1992, we began a major renovation, which included upgrades to HVAC, the kitchen, Parish Hall and classrooms and created the current Youth Center in the undercroft.
We strive to fulfill our stewardship commitment through a variety of weekday offerings, such as our Emmaus feeding ministry, Lenten Lunch and preaching series, the Eyes on Richmond speaker series, Jazz Lunches, and renting our space for use during the Virginia General Assembly season. In addition, we have hosted bishops' consecratiions, Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebrations, governors' inaugural services, and 9/11 memorial services.
In our recent member survey, when asked to assess the size and condition of our facilities, over 85% of parishioners rated them "excellent" or "adequate."
In small group meetings, parishioners wondered what changes would be required if our congregation grew dramatically.
