Vision for the Future

Thanks to the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Richmond plans for its future.  We acknowledge strengths and limitations, set priorities, and organize to achieve goals.

In 2000, the Chamber of Commerce led metropolitan Richmond in developing Vision 20/10.  We are now preparing to recast our Vision.

For the past two years, the Chamber of Commerce has led the Richmond Challenge to promote understanding of regional issues, such as public education, workforce development, transportation, affordable housing and public safety.  For the latest report, click here.

Racial, economic and jurisdictional divisions are our greatest obstacles to success.  According to Dr. James Crupi, they undermine our capacity to create a common strategic vision for the Richmond Region.
