For over 100 years, St. Paul's has sponsored the community Lenten Series, which features a notable preacher each week and a delicious lunch. This year's theme is "Radical Welcome." Each 30-minute service begins at 12:30 pm and lunch is served in the Parish Hall in two sittings (11:45 am & 1:00 pm). Come for one or both parts of the day, as you prefer! Weekdays (Mondays - Fridays) during Lent.
Free parking is available in the St. Paul's Garage. Garage entrance is on 8th Street between Franklin and Grace Streets.
Our 2014 Lenten preachers will be posted in this space when they are announced.
Lunch served at 11:45 am & 1:00 pm in Parish Hall and the Atrium
Takeout available from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm
Before and after each service, St. Paul's offers a reasonably priced ($8), freshly-cooked hot meal (or cold plate). Desserts are available for $2. Most days, lunch goers enjoy live piano music softly played by volunteers. Reservations for groups of six or more may be made by calling (804) 643-3589. Please call by 10:30am on the day you wish to attend.
All profits from St. Paul's Lenten Lunches are distributed to those in need in the city, the state, the Diocese, and abroad.
