Debo Dabney-contemporary Jazz

Jazz Lunches, in partnership with the Richmond Jazz Society, are held each Wednesday, April 2 through May 14 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Church Parish Hall. Cost is $8 per person which includes Jazz and lunch (catered by a leading area restaurant) with beverage and dessert.
For reservations call the Church at 643-3589 or reserve on-line by the Monday, April 14.

This Wednesday featured Jazz musician is DEBO DABNEY (CONTEMPORARY JAZZ)
Herbert “Debo” Dabney is one of the area’s most dynamic pianists.  He has been playing the ivory keys for over 45 years with a repertoire from Jazz to Gospel, R&B, Swing, Blues and Children’s Classics. In addition to leading his own ensemble, The Happy Band, Debo is keyboardist/organist at Trinity Baptist Church in Richmond’s Northside. He is one of the area’s most sought-after musicians by presenters around the Commonwealth.
