Reception Honoring Grant Hellmers
Celebratory reception honoring Grant Hellmers
Please join us on Sunday, August 9, when we celebrate Grant Hellmers and his ministry with St. Paul's. We will hold a celebratory reception in his honor following the 10:00 AM service that day. Then, that afternoon, at 4:00 PM, Grant will hold a final concert at St. Paul's, with a second reception to follow.
For more than thirty years, Grant has served faithfully at St. Paul's, touching the lives of countless people, and serving with excellence as our principal musician, organist, and choir master. It is, therefore, with great gratitude to him, and with full hearts, that we announce that Grant has chosen to retire.

Such Great Heights (Generosity) Meeting
Kick-off Meeting of the Generosity Team
Announcing the kick-off meeting of the
St. Paul's Such Great Heights Generosity Team! We are very excited about the
Such Great Heights visioning process at St. Paul's, and particularly about our
talented team. We will first convene at the home of John and Susan Davis on
Thursday, August 27, 2009, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., for dessert and to discuss
Generosity at St. Paul's. We will review ideas, hear testimonies, discuss plog
submissions, brain-storm, and plan our work this Fall.
The meeting is this Thursday, Aug. 27, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the Davises' house:

Such Great Heights Meeting at Westminster Canterbury
Luncheon and discussion.
Such Great Heights team leaders will host a luncheon with Westminster Canterbury residents and parishioners. This is an opportunity for residents to share their hopes and dreams for St. Paul's and grapple with the questions: "Who does God call us to be?" and "What does God call us to do?" There will be five tables of residents with two committee members at each table. The luncheon begins at noon and will be over by 1:30 p.m.
