This summer, as a parish, we are reading The Great Emergence, named one of the top ten books in Religion & Spirituality for 2009 by Booklist,
a publication of the American Library Association. The Most Rev.
Katharaine Jefferts Schori also praised the book, calling it “an
immensely important contribution o the current conversation about new
and merging forms of Christianity in a postmodern environment.”
We will discuss the book as a group on Wed., Aug. 4 (with Wallace+ and Bryan Appel) and Sun., Aug. 15 (with Kate+ and Leslie Choplin)
