Jazz Lunches
Terri Murphy and Kevin Simpson
Jazz Lunches, in partnership with the Richmond Jazz Society, are held each Wednesday, April 2 through May 14 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Church Parish Hall. Cost is $8 per person which includes Jazz and lunch (catered by a leading area restaurant) with beverage and dessert.
For reservations call the Church at 643-3589 or reserve on-line by the Monday, May 5.
This Wednesday featured Jazz musicians are – TERRI AND KEVIN SIMPSON (JAZZ AND R&B)
Pianist/vocalist/composer Terri Simpson is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Jazz Studies program and her husband, Kevin Simpson, who also attended VCU, is one of the most active saxophonists/flutists in the area. Terri and Kevin perform regularly with their respective ensembles in a variety of restaurants and clubs in Central Virginia. Today, however, it is a rare treat to have them here, performing together.
Food will be catered by Delux.
