Gypsy Roots - featured at May 14 Jazz Lunch

Jazz Lunches, in partnership with the Richmond Jazz Society, are held each Wednesday, April 2 through May 14 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Church Parish Hall.  Cost is $8 per person which includes Jazz and lunch (catered by a leading area restaurant) with beverage and dessert.
For reservations call the Church at 643-3589 or reserve on-line by Monday, May 12.

This Wednesday's (May 7) featured Jazz musicians are Gypsy Roots (Gypsy Jazz)

Parisian, cafe-style and bohemian are just a few words that come to mind to describe this unique ensemble. Gypsy Roots gives jazz and swing new meaning with a sound that originates from the European "hot club" scene where legendary greats Django Reinhardt and Stephen Grapelli made a name for themselves. Playing classic swing tunes from the 30's and 40's "with a twist", Gypsy Roots offers a unique alternative.

Food will be catered by Kuba Kuba.
