Prayers of the People Form II (Ref. BCP 385)

In the course of the silence after each bidding, the People offer their own prayers, either silently or aloud.

Leader:    I ask your prayers for God’s people throughout the world; for our Bishops; for this gathering; and for all ministers and people.

(Anglican)    For Rowan, Archbishop of Canterbury; The Church of the Province of West Africa.

(Nation)    Katharine, our Presiding Bishop.

(Diocese)    Peter, David, and Shannon, our Bishops; St. Mary’s (Fleeton); Grace and St. Mary’s (Berryville); St. James’ (Mount Vernon); the Fall Clergy Retreat at Shrine Mont. Special Diocesan Congregations in need: Epiphany (Herndon); St. Stephen’s (Heathsville); The Falls Church (Falls Church), St. Margaret’s (Woodbridge).

(St. Paul's) The Micah and Emmaus programs; Father Erasto, the Carpenter’s Kids, and the people of Mwitikira, Tanzania; and St. Paul’s & Father Joseph in Kumasi, Ghana.
