Prayers of St. Paul’s

For Rowan, the Archbishop of Canterbury; Katharine, our Presiding Bishop; Shannon and David, our bishops; Wallace, Kate, Fletcher, Bill, Ben, Gene and Roger, our clergy; for all the people of St. Paul's; and for the clergy and congregation of Falls Church Episcopal (Falls Church)

We thank you for the presence in our midst of those members of our congregation who are members of the eightfifteen group; we thank you especially for their enriching presence and life and ask you to bless them in their daily work and life

For all who suffer from any illness, grief or trouble, especially Bill Thomas, Rachael Skipworth-Taylor, Marcus Ford, Betty Currin, Ronda Ferdinand, Sally Anna Evans, Callie Proctor, Neal Shingleton, Barry Kirkpatrick, Bill Manning, and Lynn Evans; for Joyce Glover, Helen McDonald, Elizabeth Barmer, Chris Tompkins, Ellen Boyd & Bill Miller, Susan Pastore, Nancy & Jim Todd, and Henry Martin

For all those in our Armed Forces, especially: Matthew M.C. Smith, Sean Breit-Rupe, Ed Ledford, Justin Mayer, Tom Booker, and Robert Bertrand

For the workplaces and businesses of Metropolitan Richmond: For economic development in depressed portions of the city, for the establishment of businesses that will create new employment opportunities

For all the baptized in their daily work, especially those of our congregation and community who are in the food services industry, including wait staff, chefs and cooks, dieticians, proprietors and wholesalers

For all people in this current economic downturn, especially those whose
employment, credit, investments and housing have been adversely affected
